Obama's Gay Marriage Stance Is Not Brave, Its Evidence Of Cowardice

Yesterday, President Barack Hussein OBama threw political caution to the wind and stood up for gay rights. At least that is what democrat lapdogs in the media are saying. If you have honestly been following Obama's reign for the past few years, you know his newly changed stance on gay marriage is anything but bravery. It's evidence of lacking a spine.

Prior to yesterday, Obama had said that marriage is between a man and a woman. He had also said that marriage is not a civil right. But as cowardice leaders do, Obama has "changed his mind" due to politics.

In the past, When pressed about the gay marriage issue, the White House had laughably said that the president's views on the issue were "evolving". Yet another way for petulant Obama to pass the buck until he could decide which side was politically advantageous for his corrupt administration.

OBama changing his views on gay marriage is not really OBama changing his views on the issue. It was not the result of deep moral contemplation. Obama flipped because he thinks it will benefit him politically. He does not care about gay rights. He is using gays as political pawns.

The president isn't going to change any laws or lead a gay crusade. he still believes that it should be up to the states to determine whether to allow gay marriage. So Why did he flip?

Obama wants to paint Romney as a bigot. It's that simple. He wants to be able to say, "I'll defend gay rights while Romney will crush gay rights." It's all pointless debate anyway since gays already have the same rights guaranteed in The Constitution that heterosexuals enjoy. OBama wants to stir the pot and have the media feed the fire of labeling Romney as a bigot.

OBama's flip is just another notch in the list of things the coward has done which shows his lack of leadership. Whenever something doesn't go according to plan, the man in the White House blames Bush, the republicans, The Constitution, congress, democracy, ATM's, greedy CEO's, etc. Yet, when other people are responsible for a success, like killing Osama, Barack will not only take the credit, but spike the football.

He doesn't have a strong enough moral compass to take a principled stance on any issue. Trying to get him to say what he actually thinks is near impossible since nearly everything the man says is precisely scripted and splashed on a teleprompter for him to recite.

A true leader does not bend in the wind. A true leader stands on his/her principles and isn't ashamed or afraid to say what he/she thinks. Barack Obama hides his views behind incompetent press secretaries, elitist speech writers, a boob of a vice-president, and behind straight out lies.

The truth is, we still don't know where Obama stands on the issue of gay marriage. All that we know is that he lacks a spine and is willing to use gays as political fodder.
