State Of The Union: Barack Obama Wants To Be A Dictator

I found the SOTU campaign speech last night from President Obama to be condescending and hypocritical. It was filled with empty platitudes, contradictions, and grossly unconstitutional proposals.

After the president gave his grandiose dream of all the new departments, task forces, taxes, regulations, and mandates, he said something that sent a creepy chill down my spine. He firmed his jaw and said that he will do all those things with or without the approval of congress. This petulant man wants to be a full blown dictator.

Not since FDR has a president so strongly verbalized his wish to make congress irrelevant

As frustrating and annoying as congress is, we cannot allow any president to circumvent congress in this manner. One of the reasons congress exists is to ensure no person in the government can become a dictatorial tyrant.

This man obviously has no understanding of history. He has no respect for The Constitution. He has no respect for the law. He fails to understand the role of the office of the president. President Obama is dangerous. We cannot allow him to continue to make congress irrelevant.

Please. Obama just wants to get things done. The do-nothing congress is just slowing him down.

Besides, your man Bush circumvented congress plenty of times.

The job of the president isn't to "get things done." He doesn't have that much constitutional power to do much of anything. But he doesn't mind pissing all over The Constitution to change the U.S. into the country of his father's vision.

He did. And it pissed me off just as much. Also, Bush isn't my man.

I didn't watch the speech. I figured it would all be recycled garbage from last time. I literally get sick to my stomach every time I hear the man talk.

So what if he wants to be a dictator? Let him. At least all those rich fat cats on wall street would have to give their stolen money back.

he should just sign executive orders which state that it is illegal to make more than $250,000 a year. If you make more than that, you have to give to the poor they have stepped all over.
