To the GOP bosses, their cronies, and to the lobbies that bribe them: libertarians and conservatives are on to you. We know you put party power before the liberty and prosperity of our country. Don't bother denying it; lying doesn't work on us anymore.

We are no longer the sheeple you think we are, we are no longer blind to your games. Our economic ...

Progressives and liberals are rejoicing -- Glenn Beck's last day at Fox News has finally arrived. What I don't understand is why his critics are so excited. They had nothing to do with Glenn's departure, nor will his Fox News time slot be filled with dead air. Glenn Beck will also continue his three-hour syndicated radio show, and will begin his online TV network. Beck isn't going ...

It isn't often that the DNC, the GOP, and the media all have a common enemy, but they seem to have found one in Sarah Palin. The attacks against her from all sides are amusing, bemusing, validating, and frustrating. Although I really don't care about the 2012 election at this point, I have to admit the fixation on Sarah Palin is quite intriguing.

    The DNC

    It's ...

When President Obama took office in January of 2009, one of the first acts as president was to sign a pledge promising "an unprecedented level of openness in government." How is he doing on fulfilling that pledge? He must have forgotten about it. His presidency has been mired in secrecy and opaqueness ever since he signed the pledge. His administration has frequently denied Freedom Of Information requests, debated the health care issue behind closed doors despite a pledge to do so openly, hidden logs recording visitors to the White House, and much more. What is Obama planning on doing next that is equally ...

The White House has added a new position to the White House staff today. Jesse Lee is the new Director of Progressive Media & Online Response. This translates loosely to "President Obama's Online Watchdog". According to the progressively slanted Huffington Post, this means that "the White House will be adopting a more aggressive engagement in the online world in the months ahead." The Post also points out that this is a new position, marking a shifting of such responsibilities away from the Democratic National Committee.

While the first amendment guarantees freedom of speech to everybody including the President, this new position seems a little ...

It never ceases to disgust me when politicians continue to display true ignorance and their ability to put on a show for the cameras. Computer world reports representatives from both Apple and Google will testify at a superfluous congressional hearing next month concerning user "tracking."

The witch hunt is being spear-headed by none other than Stuart Smalley, AKA Senator Al Franken. The failed radio talk-show host began his fishing expedition last week when a report emerged that Apple's i devices, such as the iPhone and iPad, store locations of the nearest cell tower or nearest hotspot. Misunderstanding the report, the media ran with the story "Apple is tracking exactly where users go!" Senator Franken either ...

Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania is set to introduce a bill in order to bailout unions for a price of $165,000,000,000. He says the bill will help people and save jobs. The bill aims to support troubled pensions for union workers. Last week, President Obama said there would be no more bailouts.

Chances of the bill passing are not known, but a hearing ...
